Representatives from Nsit Atai Local Government joined other dignitaries at the dedication service of the Tinubu/Umo Eno Support Group, held at God’s Bethel of Praise Ministry International, Uyo. The event marked a public commitment of the group’s activities and leadership to God, emphasising unity and development for Akwa Ibom State.
The coordinator for Nsit Atai, Dr Harrison Harrison John, underscored the importance of unity and partnership in achieving progress across Akwa Ibom. He called on young people to stand behind the Tinubu/Umo Eno movement ahead of the 2027 elections, noting the positive direction that united leadership could bring to the state. Dr Harrison also announced the successful constitution of the Nsit Atai Chapter Executive Committee and the appointment of ward coordinators across all ten wards in the local government.
The guest speaker, Reverend Dr Godwin Amaowo, highlighted the pivotal role of Christian involvement in political leadership, citing Pastor Umo Eno as a model for good governance and integrity. During the service, Rev. Amaowo was formally invited by Obong Uwana Michael Joseph Okon, leader of the support organisation and president of the Coalition of Youth Leaders in Akwa Ibom State, to serve as the group’s official spokesperson.
The ceremony concluded with prayers for the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Akwa Ibom State, and Nsit Atai Local Government Area, reflecting a spirit of unity and hope.
