In a powerful demonstration of unity, youths from Abak, Etim Ekpo, and Ika Federal Constituency have endorsed President Bola Tinubu, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Akwa Ibom Governor Umo Eno, National Assembly Member Clement Jimbo, and Speaker Udeme Otong for re-election in the 2027 polls.
The endorsement, organised by the All Families Initiative, was marked by a solidarity march through Abak Local Government Area on 29th August 2025, applauding the leaders’ impactful governance that has driven development and empowerment across communities.
Comrade Imoh Akpanurom, Coordinator of the Initiative, stated the march symbolises both gratitude and a call for continued support based on the leaders’ achievement in office. Rep. Clement Jimbo thanked the youths for their confidence, reaffirming his commitment to fulfilling promises and urging doubters to join the winning team.
Dr. Clement Awakessien, APC State Youth Leader, encouraged disciplined youth engagement to sustain democratic dividends, while Speaker Otong pledged continued youth empowerment.
The event featured presentations, acceptance of political defectors, and contributions from party and community leaders, reinforcing a solid youth-backed mandate for continued leadership and progress in the Federal Constituency.
Among the distinguished personalities present at the event were the former Akwa Ibom State Commissioner for Information, Dcns. Christy Obot, Abak APC Chapter Vice Chairman Pastor Johnson, various APC Chapter officers, former PDP Chapter Chairman and current APC chieftain Hon. Udobong Mbeye, as well as APC Ward Chairmen and other notable figures.
The event concluded with a ceremonial presentation of swords to Rep. Clement Jimbo and Speaker Udeme Otong, followed by the State Youth Leader Dr. Clement Awakessien welcoming defectors from other political parties into the APC. The occasion was capped off with a spirited solidarity march through the streets of Abak Local Government Area.
