Senator Gbenga Daniel Refutes Reports on Akpabio’s Health, Confirms Party Readiness for Ogun Bye-Election

London, UK – Former Ogun State Governor and Senator representing Ogun East, Gbenga Daniel, has categorically refuted media claims that Senate President Godswill Akpabio is hospitalized in London. During his visit, Senator Daniel informed the Senate President of his planned return to Nigeria to participate in the August 16 bye-election for the Ikenne/Sagamu/Remo North Federal Constituency, following the passing of Hon. Adewumi Onanuga.

Senator Daniel stated that accusations about Akpabio’s health are unfounded, and his appearance confirms he is in good condition. In response, Senate President Akpabio expressed confidence in the All Progressives Congress’s prospects in the upcoming election, citing strong support from Governor Dapo Abiodun and other party stakeholders.
