YET MORE ENCOMIUMS ON THE GOVERNOR
The All Progressives Congress, APC, Akwa Ibom State ably led by our amiable State Chairman, Obong Stephen Leo Ntukekpo congratulates our dear governor, Pastor Umo Bassey Eno, PhD. on a very successful turn out and hosting yesterday 15th July, 2025 of critical stakeholders of our great party drawn from the three Senatorial Districts of the State, namely, Uyo, Ikot Ekpene and Eket.
The initiative by the governor, once again places His Excellency on the pedestal of a people- centric leader, an attribute he exhibits par excellence.
This meeting was part of the ongoing reach outs that the governor has embarked upon since his wise and well informed decision to disembark from the Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP, and pitch his political tent with the APC, a party he sees and is convinced that is capable of boarding to the political and economic destination of our dear state.
The State Chairman setting the tone, and from speaker to speaker drawn from the different Senatorial Districts, each had nothing as goodwill message than pouring encomiums upon encomiums on the governor for his love for the state, love that has brought peace and unity which are core ingredients for progress. The governor on his part once again habitually preached the same message of Love, forgiveness and unity that would engender progress for the overall benefit of the people of the state which on this he read copiously from the Holy Bible.
The governor once again pledged total commitment to the welfare and service to the people and the party.
A communique, not without before observing a minute silence to honour the passing of the immediate past President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari a statesman per excellence, was issued overwhelmingly adopting the President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, the Senate President, Chief Dr. Godswill Obot Akpabio, GCON and the governor, Pastor Umo Bassey Eno as the sole candidates of our party in the current positions and offices being held by them respectively, come 2027.
The party once again congratulates, our dear governor on his giant strides and bold steps taken so far with tremendous results to unite his people and being the sole governorship candidate of our great party, come 2027.
