UYO, Nigeria—The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Akwa Ibom State has launched a membership registration and revalidation exercise for support groups wishing to officially join the party, in line with Article 9.4 subsection (III) of the APC Constitution (2022 as amended).
According to a statement released by Dr. Awakessien Clement, the State Youth Leader, the exercise is open to both APC and former PDP support groups aiming to affiliate with the APC. The registration process runs until August 10, 2025, and is being conducted at the APC State Secretariat, located at 6 Ekpo Obot Street, Uyo.
Support group representatives are urged to visit the party office to obtain an online registration form, which must be filled out for proper documentation. To complete the process, representatives are required to present the following: a voter’s card, party membership card, National Identification Number (NIN), and a pre-approved registration code from the office of the State Youth Leader. In addition, they will need Gmail account login credentials to facilitate data validation and integrity.
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS:
Support group Representatives are adviced to visit the party office to obtain an online Registration form to be filled for documentation.
For any Support group Representative to fill the form,
He or she must have;
1). Voters card, party membership card, Nin
2). A pre- Approved Registration code, obtained from the office of the state youth leader of the party.
3). Gmail account login credentials handy to login, before forms can be filled. This is to allow for data validation and Intergrity.
The APC leadership encourages all eligible support groups to take advantage of this opportunity before the deadline. Further details and access to the online registration link are available from the office of the State Youth Leader at the party secretariat.
