The Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) has disbursed a record ₦1.818 trillion to federal, state, and local governments as June 2025 revenue, marking the highest monthly allocation so far this year. The official figures were released after the July FAAC meeting in Abuja, as confirmed by Mallam Bawa Mokwa, Director of Information at the Office of the Accountant-General of the Federation.

Source of Funds

The disbursed funds were generated from the following sources:

  • Statutory revenue: ₦1.018 trillion
  • Value Added Tax (VAT): ₦631.507 billion
  • Electronic Money Transfer Levy (EMTL): ₦29.165 billion
  • Exchange rate difference: ₦38.849 billion
  • Augmentation from non-mineral revenue: ₦100 billion
